Create was founded in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2015 on the principle of streamlining collaboration between architect, contractor, and owner. It started with the goal of building better through a better process. Originally, Create was established as a commercial design-build company with a focus on interior build-outs and renovations. As time went on we began to do expand out and do bigger and more complex projects. We expanded our services outside of the design-build delivery method and began doing CM and hard-bid projects; working with a range of different architects and designers. We learned it wasn't necessarily the design-build process that was driving our projects' success but our core methodology and approach to construction.
In 2024 the company rebranded to Create Building Company (formerly WJCreate) signifying our growth as a full-service Construction Company and our ambitions for the future.
